Arsenal to make incredible contract offers to Ozil & Sanchez

Will Arsenal’s contract rebels stay at The Emirates?

The long awaited board meeting between Arsenal and Arsene Wenger takes place today.
After winning the FA Cup on Saturday, Arsene Wenger is expected to stay at the club and sign a two-year contract that has been on the table for some time now.
With Wenger’s stay now inevitable, thoughts are now turning to two of the other most important contract rebels at Arsenal.

£280,000 a week!

On Tuesday morning there are updates on Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez from two journalists close to the goings on at Arsenal.
Both Jeremy Wilson (Daily Telegraph) and John Cross (Daily Mirror) report that Arsenal will offer Sanchez and Ozil huge new deals to stay at the club.
According to Wilson: “Ozil is understood already to have been offered more than £250,000 a week and the club are ready to go to around £280,000 for both him and Sanchez.”
Will Alexis Sanchez stay at Arsenal?
Certainly, as it stands, Alexis Sanchez seems much more likely to leave Arsenal this summer, when compared to Ozil.

There is much more interest in the Chilean, with the likes of Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris St Germain, Juventus and Chelsea all keen.

According to Wilson, Arsenal are hopeful of a two-year extension for Sanchez until 2020, which would still allow the former Barcelona man a major move in the prime of his career.
“Arsenal unlikely to turn down a big offer”
Worryingly for Gooners, Wilson adds: “Despite Wenger’s claim that Arsenal do not have to sell this summer, they are unlikely to turn down a big offer – even from one of their Premier League rivals – if either player did not extend their contract this summer and so could leave for nothing next year.”
Looking ahead to which players Arsenal might bring in this summer.

The Daily Telegraph claim Alexandre Lacazette will be difficult due to the lack of Champions League football.
Whilst Marco Reus’ injury means Arsenal will not go in for the Borussia Dortmund attacker.
Arsenal are though keen on Riyad Mahrez (Leicester) and Thomas Lemar (Monaco).

Alexis Sanchez posts celebratory videos from the Arsenal dressing room after Chelsea win.
